Guest Post Requirements

If you are interested in guest posting on this blog please make your submission with the following additional guest post requirements in mind:
  • Email your post over in a text file with all the HTML style code already included to make editing the post for publication easier for me.
  • You do not need to put line breaks (
    ) in the post.  Simple returns are fine.
  • Sub-headers - I use the

    tag or tag.

  • I require the guest post to be keyword focused.  This means that I want the main key word (or keyword phrase) to be included in the title and sprinkled throughout the post a few times.  The post should stay on topic.
  • Please link back to at least 1-2 of my archived posts on the same subject from within the body of your guest post.  You may link out to your site from the by-line and once from the body of the article giving you two backlinks.
  • Please add references to the bottom of your post as appropriate.
  • Lastly this is not required but I encourage you to participate anyway.  Your guest post will benefit you more if it fares well in the search engines.  Please send a link or two back to your published guest post from another website (different one from the site you link to in your byline).  The links will make this guest post a stronger post in the search engines and will make the links back to your site more meaningful as well.
The focus of my blog is Overall Health & Longevity and thus if your guest post is related to this broad topic you shouldn't have any problems with content.
