The Journal of Epidemiology recently released some information that touts omega-3’s as colon cancer fighters. Researchers published in the journal found that if you eat food which are rich in Omega-3 fats such as fish, spinach, and nuts then you will be 37 percent less likely to develop colon cancer in your life time.

This research reminds me of previously reported research showing that eating fish (omega-3 fats) can help lower your odds of dementia and stroke and that wine drinkers typically have higher concentrations of omega-3’s in their blood stream at any given time.
