To Prevent an Increased Risk for Metabolic Syndrome Eat More Dairy

56 - Percentage increase in your risk of metabolic syndrome (a collection of symptoms that puts you at greater risk for diabetes and heart disease) if you eat less than two servings of dairy a day, according to a study of 5,000 people reported in the American Journal of Health Promotion.
Additional findings suggest that the trans fat Vaccenic Acid found in dairy and beef might be the cause of this link to Metabolic Syndrome... and in a strange turn of events it appears new mothers can help prevent metabolic syndrome by breastfeeding their children.  Check it out.
